In 18 years of youth ministry, my husband and I learned a lot about teens falling in love. In fact, I’ve enjoyed watching countless couples fall in love. I consider it a perk of being in ministry! I especially loved observing God’s blessing on those who honored Christ in their romance. I can honestly attest to the value of exposing our children to real-life love stories that glorified Christ. Our children’s idea of godly romance was strongly influenced by watching couples who loved God and obeyed His plan for their love lives.

During his tenure of serving as director of Church of God World Missions, Church of God General Overseer Tim Hill testified of a burden and was challenged with the realization that this generation can indeed complete the Great Commission. Hill’s burden became the FINISH Challenge with a distinct set of six mandates using the acronym FINISH.

As I write this article, I sit stunned at both the wickedness of man and the silence of Christ’s followers and ambassadors. Surely every Christian leader in America felt a seismic shift in their spirit as the slaughter of more innocent children has been legislated in one state and spelled out and defended by the governor in another.

On February 7, 2019, Dan and Finnabea Moore were inducted into the Pentecostal Theological Seminary Hall of Prophets. The induction ceremony, moderated by PTS President Michael Baker, convened at Living Waters Christian Fellowship in Fountain Valley, California, where Dan and Finnabea spent 38 years as lead pastor, and currently serve as Pastor Emeritus.

As Virginia politics is roiled by revelations about senior state officials having worn or countenanced blackface in past years, how America and its churches address racial sin remains an ongoing moral and spiritual imperative. Secular America stresses guilt without atonement. Churches advocate racial reconciliation but often seem to lack the spiritual tools to achieve their laudable goals for the church or the nation.

Fountain Valley, Calif.: The first of 23 Global Ministry Forums was held last night, February 7, 2019, in Fountain Valley, California at the Living Waters Christian Fellowship church. There were approximately 118 people there to express their thoughts and ideas on a variety of items impacting the future of the Church of God.
