Volunteers in Medical Missions (VIMM) has had a long association with Church of God World Missions. Established in 1986 by medical doctor Stoney Abercrombie of South Carolina, its goals are to encourage participation among Christian volunteers by providing medicines, supplies, and equipment to clinics in third-world countries, and to involve non-medical people in missions projects such as construction, Bible schools, evangelism, and the use of other skills. Christian medical professionals and other volunteers are able to experience missions first-hand.

The infamous Ashley Madison website promotes its dating business by announcing: “Life is short. Have an affair.” Now, it looks like the company will have a short life as well. Ashley Madison will likely go out of business after anonymous hackers last month published the names of 37 million accounts on the site for extramarital affairs.
