First Church Planter Intensives Begin This Weekend
This is the final week to register for the January 24-25, 2020 Church Planter Launch Intensive at the Plant City Church of God in Plant City, Florida. It is the first of five to be held between now and May 1, 2020.
Mendoza Sets New World Record
Mario Mendoza, Jr., a Church of God minister who is executive director of Youth for Christ in central Oregon, set a new world record for running a 50K marathon on a treadmill at the Madras High School in Oregon. In 2:59:03 record time, Mario beat the old record by 46 seconds.
Hill Announces Theme for International General Assembly
Cleveland, TN—Church of God General Overseer Timothy M. Hill revealed what will be the theme for the International General Assembly of the Church of God later this summer.
Church Leaders to Meet Next Week
Cleveland, TN–State and regional overseers will be meeting in session next week at the International Offices for a “summit,” which will conclude on Tuesday morning in a combined session with the International Executive Council, and the Administrative Ministries Council (AMC).
26th Annual FOCUS Children’s Ministries Leadership Training Conference
“Wide and Deep” is the theme of the 26th annual FOCUS Church of God Children’s Ministries Leadership Training Conference to be held March 7-9, 2020 at the Gatlinburg Convention Center in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This is a change in venue, relocating this year in the Smoky Mountains.
