Flood Relief Ongoing in Sri Lanka

Earlier this year, Sri Lanka experienced immense flooding and landslides from two natural disasters – a monsoon and a cyclone. At least 208 people died and almost 700,000 were affected. Church of God World Missions leaders immediately released funds to National Overseer Premadasa Ginigalgoda to help relieve the suffering.

Thompson Named Director of Men and Women of Action

Phil Thompson was recently named the new director of Men and Women of Action (MWOA), an independent benevolent organization with roots in the Church of God. Thompson replaces long-time director Hugh Carver, who announced his retirement from the organization earlier this year.
