The upcoming Church of God International Assembly meets July 29 – August 1, 2014. The biennial event will mark the 75th time Church of God ministers and laity have met as an Assembly for business and fellowship. In celebration of the milestone, delegates at GA2014 will receive a special commemorative magazine entitled, It Seemeth Good to the Holy Ghost and Us.

Located just west of Gallup, NM is the First American Distribution Center. This is a major source of assistance to the Navajo Reservation and other Indian Nations nearby. For several years, Mike Hartwell has been the coordinator splitting his time between New Mexico and West Virginia where he is also the coordinator of the Appalachian Dream Center. This past winter was harsh on the high desert plateau and supplies previously sent by Operation Compassion have been depleted.
“A renewed sense of urgency must be captured by the church if it is to fulfill its World Missions calling,” according to Church of God World Missions Director Tim Hill. This is the preeminent theme of the Thursday evening World Missions service in the Church of God General Assembly set for Orlando July 29-August 1.
