Four Denominations Unite in Resources Project

Cleveland, TN—Church of God Publications has announced that four Pentecostal denominations have partnered together to form One Accord Resources.

Lee University Cancels Commencement Ceremonies

Lee President Dr. Paul Conn announced the cancellation of commencement ceremonies scheduled for August 1, in an email and video message to graduates on Wednesday. Seven hundred sixty graduates were planning to march and receive degrees in the ceremonies.

PRC Offering 1986 Centennial General Assembly Online Experience

#wepraycog Campaign Approaching 40th Week

Last fall General Overseer Tim Hill announced a 40 week prayer campaign entitled #wepraycog. It called upon the Church of God to recruit 5,000 local churches and up to 1.5 million individual partners to mobilize for prayer.

Lee University Establishes Micah 6:8 Scholarship

Lee University recently announced the new Micah 6:8 scholarship fund, which will provide financial assistance to qualifying students of color. The scholarship is named for the Old Testament verse Micah 6:8, which encourages all “to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with our God.”

Hill Calls Day of Prayer for This Sunday

Cleveland, TN–Church of God General Overseer Timothy M. Hill has called for a Day of Prayer for the Church of God around the world this Sunday, July 12, 2020. He is asking for all pastors to set aside a time of focused prayer for the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, which has affected the Church of God globally, and for the recent racial unrest in the United States.
