For the third year in a row, Church of God Women’s Ministries are hosting Faith*Fire*Freedom rallies to be held at both U.S. and international locations. The first of the three meetings to meet this month will take place this Friday, October 11 in Nassau, Bahamas.

Liberty Counsel has filed a motion requesting the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana to issue summary judgment in the lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana (ACLU) that seeks to remove a lighted Nativity scene from the Jackson County Courthouse Christmas light display. Liberty Counsel represents Jackson County.

Family Research Council today released a first-of-its-kind set of maps showing the strength of born-alive abortion survivor protection laws and the legal status of late term abortion in every state. Protections for born-alive abortion survivors became a national conversation when New York and Illinois walked back their protections earlier this year, removing existing protections for infants born alive during failed abortion attempts.

Last weekend, I led a three-day retreat for 125 men in Pittsburgh. The guys came from more than a dozen states as well as Canada. There were teenagers, college students, 20-somethings, hipsters, jocks, young fathers, businessmen and a few retirees. And the ethnic mix included Ugandan, Korean, Ethiopian, Russian, Hispanic and Ghanaian.

Not long ago, a young lady who is deaf sent an email to Child Evangelism Fellowship® requesting that training in child evangelism be offered in ASL. She said she was willing to travel anywhere in the world to receive this training. Her desire was to learn how to share the Gospel with children so she would be able to share Christ with children who attend a school for the deaf. Her plea was heard! Videos with ASL translation along with written scripts for each session are now part of the FREE Romans Road for Children course offered on CMI Online. There’s no need to travel a long distance for this training.

The newly launched Bless Your Pastor campaign (BlessYourPastor.org) has gained quick momentum as thousands across America have signed up to be part of the movement. The campaign is focused on encouraging and equipping America’s churchgoing faithful to “show and share God’s love” for their hard-working — and often under-compensated — pastors during Pastor Appreciation Month in October.
