Sevierville, TN—Church of God Smoky Mountain Children’s Home (SMCH) Executive Director Dr. Walt Mauldin recently announced that supporters Ron and Betty Ogle of Sevierville have donated a 5,000 square foot house, as well as two empty lots to the SMCH. The property’s worth exceeds $500,000. Since SMCH provides housing benefits for all full-time caregivers, the need for staff housing is a continual need.

The forums began earlier this year as a way to generate discussion on four critical topics heading into the 2020 International General Assembly. Ministers and laity who have not previously attended a forum are encouraged to participate in one of the remaining forums.

Federal courts overturned Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s decision against the St. Vincent Catholic Charities adoption agency in Michigan last week citing “a targeted attack on a sincerely held religious belief.” Religious Liberty advocates in the state are relieved at the court’s decision. A Rally will be held at the state capitol in response to these events.
