Calvary University President, Dr. Christopher Cone, and Word of Life Bible Institute President, Roger Peace, announced a sweeping partnership between the two institutions, designed to strengthen both schools and provide significant benefits to students, staff and faculty, and alumni of both institutions. The partnership is crafted to provide a platform of collaboration and sharing between CU and WOLBI, as the schools move toward developing collaborative programs, shared access to campus facilities to enable both schools to broaden their reach, and cross-pollination and sharing of faculty.

Nominations continue to come in from all over the country for the Longest Married Couple Project sponsored by Worldwide Marriage Encounter (WWME), the original faith-based marriage enrichment program in this country. The project honors one national winner and winners from each of the 50 states and U.S. territories.

This past Sunday afternoon, tornadoes broke out along a swath of southern Alabama and Georgia. The most devastating of these storms hit an area about 20 miles south of Opelika, AL in Beauregard in Lee County. As of 8:00 a.m. this morning the death toll was at 23 with double digit numbers of people missing. More than 100 rescuers are continuing a house by house search for survivors.
