Daniel Ekhaifo, author of “Pursuing Your God-given Dream” is a Nigerian economist who is now pursuing his own God-given passions for writing. In the process he has created a tool to show readers the difference between dreams and God-given dreams, the latter being those that we were born to do. “I believe strongly in the fact that everyone has a purpose in life and must never embrace mediocrity,” Ekhaifo says. “I have come to realize that people have dreams that they feel they were created to fulfill. When they discuss their dreams, their eyes get lit up. When they discuss their job/work, they seem downcast and burdened.”
His aim in the book is to help people identify their God- given dreams and learn how to pursue them, knowing that once one finds that dream he or she can follow it and make a difference in our world. The possible result? One less grouchy store clerk and an opening at the local daycare center for a teacher who was created to care for other people’s children.
