Cleveland, TN–Preparations for the 75th Church of God International General Assembly are well underway as registration continues and events are being finalized.

Operation Compassion Sends Relief Aid to New Mexico

Located just west of Gallup, NM is the First American Distribution Center. This is a major source of assistance to the Navajo Reservation and other Indian Nations nearby. For several years, Mike Hartwell has been the coordinator splitting his time between New Mexico and West Virginia where he is also the coordinator of the Appalachian Dream Center. This past winter was harsh on the high desert plateau and supplies previously sent by Operation Compassion have been depleted.

‘Finish Challenge’ Is Theme of GA2014 Missions Service

“A renewed sense of urgency must be captured by the church if it is to fulfill its World Missions calling,” according to Church of God World Missions Director Tim Hill. This is the preeminent theme of the Thursday evening World Missions service in the Church of God General Assembly set for Orlando July 29-August 1.

Church of God Northern New England Conducts Chaplaincy Seminar

The Northern New England Regional Office conducted a Community Service Chaplaincy Training Seminar in April 2014. Chaplain Jake Popejoy, International Director of CSC Training, was the instructor. There were thirty-six individuals that successfully completed the course and received their certification.
