General Overseer Mark Williams delivered a ‘state of the church’ report last week to the Church of God International Council, which was in session at the International Offices in Cleveland, Tennessee. Williams’ address was the highlight of the opening session of the Council and set the tone for the agenda of the group of Church of God world leaders from all parts of the globe. Two church dedication services were recently held in the Leogane District, 30 miles from Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. According to Missionary Jim Hudson, the two congregations were the Trou Julot and Dessables churches.

Christianity Today magazine, the storied flagship publication from the ministry of the same name, will launch a bold, new print redesign with its October issue. The redesign comes exactly four years after its last redesign in October 2009, which was slighter in nature.

As part of its continuing merger of former Northern and Southern Ohio, the Church of God in Ohio has moved its executive offices to newly leased facilities in Columbus. This new location will allow for a more centralized access to the state offices for local pastors, ministers and church leaders.
