The United States Space Force has much to celebrate. On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, James ‘Jim’ F. Linzey, author of the United States Space Force Hymn, entered the Space Force Hymn in a poetry competition which was sponsored by the regional writers’ guild, called ‘Coffeyville Night Writers,’ in Coffeyville, Kansas. The Space Force Hymn won first place.

The gathering took place September 16 and 17 at the Westmore Church of God.
