An innovative video conference concerning the Ministerial Internship Program (MIP) recently took place between the leadership at the Church of God International Offices, Arkansas, and the Rocky Mountain Region.
Chris Swift, Regional Superintendent of Western Europe for the Church of God, recently penned his thoughts about the bombing which took place in Brussels, Belgium, an area where Rev. Swift has deep roots in ministry:
Dr. James E. Cossey, Executive Administrator of USA Missions, is scheduled to appear on the Atlanta-based TV show, Seniors Today tonight, Thursday, April 7, 2016. The program, co-hosted by Church of God member Betty Cornett, is aired from 7-9 pm on the Christian station WATC, viewed on digital channel 57 in the Atlanta area. The program can also be viewed online internationally at www.watc.tv and on some cable and satellite channels.
SEMISUD, a Church of God South American ministerial seminary located in Quito, Ecuador, recently launched a doctoral studies program. World Missions leaders Drs. Tim Hill and John D. Childers were in Quito as part of their “World Missions Around the World in 30 Days” tour and helped celebrate the milestone event.
More than a thousand have already preregistered for the 26th annual Church of God Senior Adult Retreat, the Smoky Mountain Jubilee. As it has been for the past 23 years, the retreat will be conducted at the Gatlinburg Convention Center in downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee, one of America’s favorite Smoky Mountain vacation destinations.
The Africa Firewall Project is an initiative of Men and Women of Action, under the auspices of Church of God World Missions, Cleveland, and in cooperation with the leadership of the Church of God in Africa. Individuals and churches are invited to share in the work and blessing of raising a firewall of God’s Spirit, grace and love across the African continent.
