June 3, 2024–The General Council Agenda for the upcoming 79th International General Assembly of the Church of God has been released by General Overseer Dr. Tim Hill and the International Executive Committee.

On Friday, the Supreme Court of Texas issued a ruling in Zurawski v. Texas (23-0629)a challenge brought by the New York-based Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR) against Texas’ laws protecting unborn babies from elective abortion.

The Church of God International Executive Council has released a final report entitled, “Lee University Doctrinal Integrity and Teaching Fidelity.” The report represents months of research and dialogue with leaders at Lee University and the Executive Council.

Cleveland, TN–Beginning August, 2024, Lee University will pilot a fully online, asynchronous academic program designed for high school juniors and seniors. Produced by Lee Online, the program will provide curriculum which satisfies requirements for high school and college credit, making it possible to graduate from high school with considerable progress toward a bachelor’s degree.
